Canvas + Craft Beer brings art class to Libertine Pub in Morro Bay 

The opportunity to drink cold beers while painting a masterpiece has just arrived in Morro Bay. Canvas + Craft Beer will allow you to awaken your inner artist and paint under the influence of Abbey Onikoyi, artist and owner of Spirits of Africa Gallery in San Luis Obispo. 

Onikoyi will guide attendees to craft a painting with him on the last Saturday of every month at the Libertine Pub in Morro Bay. Did I mention craft beer? The Libertine Pub has a total of 48 taps to choose from to help fuel those creative juices. All who participate in the paint party will get to bring home the canvas they created with Onikoyi. The event, Canvas + Craft Beer, is put on by Ignite Movement Studio in Morro Bay.

“Our mission is to create events that bring creativity and community together,” said Shawna Marie, owner of Ignite Movement Studio. “The painting evenings have been inspiring.”

Upcoming sessions are April 30, May 28, and June 25 and will start at 6 p.m. The cost to attend is $40 and includes all paint supplies.
