Poetic Justice Project presents 'Time Will Tell'

Getting out of jail is supposed to be the easy part of doing time. Turns out that’s not always the case.

How do you navigate the world after you’ve been locked up? Experience personal transformational journeys with actors Leonard Flippen, Jorge Manly Gil, Caroline Hitch, Frank Souza, Morry Talaugon, and Guillermo Willie in the Poetic Justice Project’s newest production, Time Will Tell.

The play, created and directed by Leah Joki, features the actors’ stories of incarceration and re-entry. Joki is the author of Julliard to Jail and writer/performer of the one-woman play Prison Boxing.

The multimedia show will be performed on June 25 at 7 p.m. and June 26 at 2 p.m. at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Arroyo Grande. In San Luis Obispo, catch Time Will Tell on July 1 at 7 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.

Tickets cost $15 and are available at the door, for purchase online at brownpapertickets.com, or by calling 1-800-838-3006.
