Thank you, residents of San Luis Obispo County, for electing me to serve as your new sheriff! I am keenly aware of the trust you have placed in me and will work diligently to continue to earn that trust each day I am in office.
Thank you also to the many volunteers, donors, and supporters who campaigned so tirelessly on my behalf. I am proud of the campaign we ran, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your hard work, financial support, and your constant encouragement.
The road ahead will present many significant challenges, the most pressing of which will be to restore your trust in our Sheriff’s Department. But I am confident that with your continued support and valuable input, we can overcome them all.
