The New Times Music Awards is a music competition that is designed to showcase the music and songwriting from local musicians in a wide variety of genres including Rock/Alternative, Country/Americana/Folk, R&B/Blues, Jazz, Open, and Youth.
Each first place finisher will compete against the others for Best Live Performance during the concert and awards ceremony. A panel of local music industry judges will determine the best live performer, who will receive a specially-customized NTMA Newtie!
