EOC thanks the community 

I am writing to thank the guardian angel that has offered to match all donations made to the EOC South County Clinic by June 30, and everyone who has donated so far. To date a total of just over $23,000 has been raised, but we still have a ways to go to secure the future of the South County Clinic. I want to remind our community that we only have three weeks left to raise the funds needed and have them be matched.

We are fortunate to have tremendous friends in this effort: Baja Fresh and Sunset North Car Wash, the Tribune, and scores of residents and businesses who have responded to our appeal. We are delighted, too, by the continued help of Mr. Clifford Chapman, who will host our Afternoon of Epicurean Delights fund-raiser in 2006 at the Chapman Estate in Shell Beach. EOC is so very grateful for this outpouring of support. We thank you and, on behalf of our clinic patients, hope your generosity will continue through the end of this month.
