Central Coast Book and Author Festival

Exhibitor applications now being accepted

Publishers, authors, illustrators, booksellers, other book professionals and book-related nonprofits are invited to meet more than 2,000 visitors expected to attend the Central Coast Book and Author Festival, scheduled for Oct. 4 in San Luis Obispo. This year’s festival will be highlighted by a visit from Marvel Comics and movie superhero Spider-Man, who will present Marvel’s highly acclaimed program of reading activities to inspire kids of all ages.

The festival expects authors and publishers from around California and beyond to mount more than 60 tabletop exhibits at this year’s event. Author presentations and panels will also take place. Festival activities will include readings and workshops, kids’ stories and activities, food, and entertainment.

Founded in 2000, the Central Coast Book and Author Festival is a free event held in San Luis Obispo’s historic Mission Plaza. This year’s event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

More information can be found at ccbookfestival.org or by calling 546-1392.
