I read with great disappointment in a recent issue that New Times has run out of homeless people to help and now the weekly is actually soliciting for people to come in to be photographed and have their un-fact- checked stories printed.
There are only two possible conclusions I can reach: Either New Times has, in a very short time, solved homelessness in our county OR the other more obvious choice: Exploiting homeless people to cultivate New Times’ “alternative edginess” has turned out to be not such a hot idea, after all.
Hey, New Times: Go shred yourselves.
