The Shredder is dead on right (“Redneck bunny hop,” Oct. 17). He truly nailed it on the head. Kudos. Having lived here for 10 years, I recognize Atascadero for what it is: an eight-exit gas stop. The city lacks the will to turn into something better. From its lackadaisical way of enforcing its own city codes to its bizarre, unrealistic view of itself, one can assume confusion reigns supreme on the City Council.
In regard to the comments on Debbie Arnold: I find it odd that she worried about families being affected by the water situation in Paso, but doesn’t mind that 800,00 people were affected by the government shutdown brought about by the lunatic fringe Tea Party group, of which she is a supporter. Hmmmmm.
