No interest in a primary election?

Not enough Vote for Me flyers from candidates?

Does it take massive advertisements from and about candidates to alert the voters to vote?

Are voters unaware unless there is a contest generating ads on radio, TV, or in our mailboxes that there is an election and they should care enough to participate?

Maybe the county should arrange for “coming election” broadcasts to run nonstop, so residents will know to show up—or mail in a ballot—and vote.

I am all for early and often, but the county clerk-recorder frowns on and prevents the often.
