PUGNACIOUS!: The third annual Pugsgiving happens Saturday, Nov. 8, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Pismo Beach Golf Course (25 W. Grand Ave.). Join the fun for an afternoon of pug wrangling, country music from the Mother Corn Shuckers, barbecue from Crave Catering, local wines, handcrafted beers, vendors, a silent auction and raffle, and contests in this event billed as “The Good, The Bad, and The Pugly.” Visit pugsgiving.eventbrite.com for tickets ($40 presale or $50 at the door). The event benefits the Central Coast Pug Rescue, a 503(c) nonprofit dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of unwanted, abused, and neglected pugs. If you can’t make the event but want to spread some pug love, you can always make a donation at centralcoastpugrescue.org.
