Sometimes the process of creating art makes people a little crazy, but what if you’re already on the edge?

In the play Cosi (at the Spanos Theatre Nov.10 through 17), Lewis, a recent university graduate is hired to direct a play to be performed by the patients of a mental institution in Melbourne, Australia, who range from an obsessive compulsive, to a food addict, to a patient with hidden aggressive tendencies.

Against the backdrop of the Vietnam War, student protests, and a free-love movement, Lewis must navigate his relationship with his live-in girlfriend and arrogant friend, Nick, a stage director who only involves himself with “serious” theater.

Tickets can be purchased at pacslo.org and are $20 for the public and $12 for students, seniors, children, faculty, and staff.
