According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, one in five families has a member who is suffering from a mental illness, a brain disease, or a brain disorder.
It would be interesting to learn the opinions (diagnoses) made by psychiatrists about the behavior of talk show host Rush Limbaugh. It appears that he may be a deeply disturbed individual who may be suffering from a mental illness; his irrational behavior cannot be deemed normal by any stretch of the imagination.
It appears that for many years he has brainwashed his listeners with his toxic rhetoric, and they never realized that they were taken in by an unbalanced individual.
This is not a case of conservative vs. liberal. There have been many unbalanced leaders throughout history—the most infamous one brought Germany down.
Mental illness is rampant in today’s society, and its subjects must be recognized so that they can receive proper medical treatment.
