Five years ago, New Times asked me where I thought the APCD dust rule fight would ultimately take us (“Air of Contention,” Oct. 11, 2011).
I replied, “Court. And how will that provide a benefit for residents of the Mesa or for taxpayers?”
The hubris and stubbornness of APCD and its assorted board of directors—specifically, Larry Allen, Bruce Gibson, Adam Hill, Jan Marx, Karen Bright, Noah Smukler, Joe Costello, and Caren Ray—has accomplished nothing in five years, and cost greatly.
I ask voters to take note.
