Congratulations to New Times on last week’s Volunteering issue. Whether it’s building schools in Nepal or helping out at the Marine Mammal Center in Morro Bay or getting involved with the SLO Noor Foundation or making a free bus service a reality or … or … or … , the opportunities are boundless.
 Despite all the negativity in our midst, we have another option, one that calls to our higher selves.
Kudos again to New Times for reminding us of the opportunities we have to contribute to the common good and, at the same time, to our inner being.
