Concerning your note to Tori Eccles (“You made a mistake!” Jan. 8): Damn spell check, huh? I don’t think I will manager my words with spell check anymore. Oh, and I do cringe every time I hear a sports announcer use a wrong verb. It seems like many of them were never taught to properly conjugate a verb.
