Drink the night away and enjoy some dance (without embarrassing yourself), all for a good cause. Ballet Theatre San Luis Obispo hosts its annual benefit Ballet in the Vineyards, an evening of wine, food, and dance, on Sept. 10 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Talley Vineyards tasting room in Arroyo Grande. 

Guests will be treated to complimentary wine and hearty appetizers, silent and live auctions, performances by the ballet company, and social dancing. All proceeds will go to Ballet Theatre San Luis Obispo. Tickets cost $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Visit bt-slo.org for more information.
