Recently Santa Cruz County ceased doing business with the following convicted felonious “persons:” Citigroup, JP Morgan Chase, Barclays, Royal Bank of Scotland, and UBS. Is SLO County doing business with them? I do not believe that the law can compel the county do business with felons. In fact, I think that any responsible official would be remiss in allowing it, as it would only condone such behavior and would expose public funds to future exploitation. Please confirm that if SLO County is doing business with them, steps are being taken to cease.
