Cal Poly Arts announced its 2026-27 season, and it’s a humdinger with a huge variety.
“We’ve created a season driven by bold imagination and artistic ambition designed to transport you, spark creativity, and bring our community together in meaningful and unforgettable ways,” Cal Poly Arts Director Molly Clark announced in this year’s brochure, available online at calpolyarts.org/seasonbrochure.
Currently tickets are available only to subscription holders, but individual tickets go on sale to the public on Monday, July 6. You can build a subscription today by selecting four or more shows and save 10 percent. This season, you can choose from Broadway hits like Beetle Juice, based on the 1988 film; Shucked, about the corn-obsessed community of Cob County; Six, which reimagines Henry VIII’s six wives as a modern girl group competing to tell their stories; and the Neil Diamond musical A Beautiful Noise.
There’s also lots of music like Taj Mahal and Keb’ Mo’, dance like Bodytraffic, comedy like Reggie Watts, speakers like Hidden Brain with Shankar Vedantam, family shows like Lightwire Theater, and much more. ∆
