STOOD UP BY THE CIRCUS

A mile-long circus train was expected to stop at the San Luis Obispo Amtrak station at 2 p.m. on Aug. 15. However, rail traffic delayed the train’s passage through San Luis Obispo until 7 p.m. The train, which was expected to stop and hose down the animals, was behind schedule and didn’t stop, but Adam Monkaba (in the air), Garret Farmer (blue shirt), and Tami Love (tank top) managed to get some high five action as the cars swept through the station in front of 50 or so onlookers.
