I wanted to add some comments on Judith Bernstein’s article last week (“What does the term ‘antisemitism’ mean?” May 8). It was well written.

But, in my opinion, one huge point I’d like to make is that one can be against Benjamin Netanyahu and his corrupt government but still be a strong Zionist. If you are against Trump and his cronies, are you anti-American?

Jewish people have one tiny homeland, which Israelis have built out of desert land.

More and more campus protesters do not know where Gaza or Israel is on the map, nor have they visited the area, but they love the bandwagon and just being part of a protest.

Sometimes anti-Zionism is the lead into antisemitism. No student in the U.S. should be afraid to go on “their” campus due to protests blocking their way or feel frightened on the streets on the way to classes.

P.S.: Ask an Israeli mom what their wish is, and the answer will be peace for our children. This is not the same answer you get from others.
