Partake in the annual San Luis Obispo Poetry Festival now through Nov. 18 at events across the county.
On Nov. 12 at Coalesce Bookstore in Morro Bay, the celebrated Glenna Luschei and Michael Hannon will read. Lined up for Nov. 17 at the SLO Library Community Room are Patti Sullivan, SLO County Poet Laureate Emeritus Bonnie Young, SLO County Poet Laureate Jeanie Greensfelder, Glenna Luschei Distinguished Poet awardee Carolyne Wright, and California State Poet Laureate Emeritus Al Young. On Nov. 18 Dian Sousa and others will also read at the library. The festival concludes at Linnaea’s CafĂ© on Nov. 19 with featured readings by Amber West, an open reading, and a closing party.
