It’s not about red versus blue, but what do we value? What do we honor?

What’s best for our families, for our descendants, for our friends and neighbors, for the freedom our forefathers did their best to create and preserve. For all those who gave their lives in battle fighting for freedom.

Politics has become one’s identity. A polarization of ideas and ideals creating a cultural war.

To preserve the freedom we cherish and deserve, we must stop the hate, the evil, the promotion of the lawlessness, the corruption, the oppressive, unrighteous teaching of our children.

“Truth is only available to those who have the courage to question what they have been taught” or told to believe.

What about moral law, seeking the truth, being open to being wrong or faulty in opinion?

It’s become a battle between right and wrong, truth and lies, justice and injustice.

Our world is falling apart and we are allowing it to happen.

Thoughts and opinions do not justify truth, we have to know for sure.

Courage is seeking the truth and standing up for it.

“A house divided cannot stand.” –Abraham Lincoln

  1. Of course, the problem is determining what the “truth” is, and what policies best serve our society. While few people oppose “the truth”, and most advocate for the well-being of the members of our society, there are vastly different ideas of how we get there. It would be nice if we didn’t instinctively demonize those who have different ideas how to do it.

  2. What is The Truth? Each individual has a version of The Truth that guides decisions. That is not only well and good but is as it should be – as long as each of us remains peaceful and respectful of all others.

No Force or Fraud. No violence, ever.

You see it is our Liberty to live as we wish that allows us to live well and provide for our family and others. The more of us living well peacefully, the more each has to enjoy and share.

Respect, Respect, Respect. By respecting others we gain respect for ourselves. We may dislike but there is no need to hate the views of others. Nor to prevent thsoe views from existing or being expressed. Polite disregard will find bad ideas buried under all the good ideas taken up by the peaceful peoples.

  3. What’s in our control is who we elect to represent us locally and nationally. We can start by electing only intelligent, experienced, rational, mentally stable leaders that have the capability to be open minded and fair across the board. If we don’t establish that starting point we’re set up for a roller coaster that can have devastating consequences. Who knows, we might even accidentally elect an ignorant immature nut job that’s hell-bent on crushing the democratic system we’ve had in place for 247 years! Electing the right men and women has never been more important than it is right now.
