While the national monument status of the Carrizo Plain is currently in limbo, its beauty is being fought for locally. 

Local photographer Dylan Honea-Baumann’s photographs of  nature and other subjects will be on display at Ascendo Coffee Shop in SLO through the end of August. The artist will donate 10 percent of the profits from pieces sold in the show to Save the Carrizo Plain.
