Created by Tessa Coates (Massive Dad), this new miniseries set in the U.K. and other parts of Europe follows besties Debbie (Octavia Spencer) and Judith (Hannah Waddingham) as they go on the run from a mysterious enemy.
Debbie is married to David (Jamie Parker), a member of Parliament who has his sights set on becoming Britain’s next prime minister. Judith, it turns out, is a highly trained assassin who’s hidden her identity from Debbie for 25 years. Can you say “betrayal”? Meanwhile, David is up to some shady business, sending Debbie into a tailspin just as she and Judith are falling out.

The leads are great together, creating a warm chemistry that frays but is still present. The miniseries also features an always welcome Bill Nighy as The Director, Judith’s ruthless boss. Fun throughout! (eight 48-to-55-min. episodes).
