It’s that time of year when odd-looking figures made out of papier mâché and hay pop up along the streets of Cambria and San Simeon.

The Cambria Scarecrow Festival runs through Oct. 31—also known as Halloween! Now in its eighth year, the whimsical festival will have hundreds of scarecrows bowling, bathing, painting, pedaling, fishing, and flying around downtown and beyond.

So take a drive and take a gander. There’s plenty of extra things to do while you’re there. For more info, visit cambriascarecrows.com.
