Peace prize was earned

I am so tired of hearing how unwarranted it was awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to President Barack Obama. Most of these right-wing detractors seem to blame our president for the award, as though in some devious way he influenced receiving the honor. The answer to their skepticism is very clear; he deserves having this great honor bestowed. The United States has a new era of peace, world respect, and the world feeling we want to work together rather than dominate. 

We all should look at the award as an honor to our president and our country. We should be proud to be Americans and appreciate the freedoms we enjoy, led by a leader who has the respect of the American people and the world.
