Local elections are the foundation of our democracy. This is where your vote really makes a difference with thin margins often determining results.

On June 2, the race for supervisor in SLO County’s District 4 will be determined. If public safety is important to you, here are three accomplishments driven by Jimmy Paulding during his term. At Fire Station 70 in Nipomo, he increased the number of firefighters per engine from two to three, improving response times and capabilities. For Oceano, when Oceano Community Services District could no longer provide fire protection, he was an essential part of the effort to raise $1 million in new funding, without a tax increase, to contract with the Five Cities Fire Authority, maintaining service levels and providing reliable fire protection. His efforts secured $12 million in funding for the new sheriff substation in Nipomo that is currently in the design phase with construction to begin in 2027.

Jimmy gets important things done in our community. Continue his work and vote Jimmy Paulding on June 2.
