A Paso Robles High School teacher arrived to school the morning of June 3, and was arrested soon after. Jeremy Ryan Monn was arrested on suspicion of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor-a felony-and booked in the county jail.

The Paso Robles Police Department (PRPD) began an investigation after receiving an anonymous tip on June 1 that alleged Monn, 30, was having sex with a 16-year old female. According to the department, the female student confirmed during the investigation that she had had ongoing sexual relations with Monn. Lt. Ty Lewis told New Times that the female was a student of Monn’s, and wouldn’t disclose what Monn taught in order to help protect her identity. Social media lists Monn as an agriculture teacher and National FFA advisor.
