America’s toughest family court judge, Judge Judy, wrote a book, Don’t Pee on My Leg and Tell Me It’s Raining.
What unmitigated chutzpah Andrea Seastrand has to have in order to write that county 3rd District Supervisor Adam Hill “became an embarrassment to our community” (SLO Tribune, Jan. 19) when a vulgarian inhabits the White House, and there’s not been a word of condemnation, especially on programs and policies that impact SLO County such as offshore drilling.
No doubt 1st District Supervisor John Peschong is a skilled political flack for oil interests and he cobbled together a cohort of acolytes to recount the talking points of the conservative (less government, fewer regulations, and property rights before human rights) crowd, most of whom were from outside of Hill’s district.
We can understand the lockstep diatribe against Hill as Seastrand is cut from the same cloth as the conservative right-wing cabal on the Board of supervisors.
But don’t pee on our leg and tell us it’s raining when she champions one of their own to lead the SLO supervisors.
It’s time to break the political trifecta that runs the board. It’s time to elect Jimmy Paulding for supervisor for the 4th District. It’s time to take the partisan out of politics.

The rant against Supervisor Hill was a set up, with no attempt by the Chair to moderate the attack. And oh, then we deny Mr. Hill’s constituents ONCE AGAIN fair representation before the board. It was a set up, then a stab in the back. Dont pee on my leg and tell me its raining.
A person who can not understand that affordable energy helps the poorest of us prosper and thinks that caring about other people is being a shill for big oil is probably a clueless shill for socialism or communism and cannot hope to participate in making a better world, because he has joined the tear it all down tribe in the name of saving the planet.
Are you accusing the board majority of applying “resistance” tactics and attitudes to Mr HILL???

Mr. Shinderman oh my you are registered to vote as a Democrat! You must be partisan by definition of registering to vote. Otherwise you would be registered as NO PARTY PREFERENCE. So stop with the silly comment about Partisan Politics. Your subject line should be “I just want to make Republicans wrong all day every day no matter what the facts are!” That would fit your rant….
