Maximino Cerna Zamora probably never thought he’d die this way, bleeding to death from a stab wound in his neck.
For reasons yet undetermined, the Grover Beach man failed to survive a violent altercation in the Carombola Bar in Oceano Sunday night. His body was found Monday morning on Barca Street. Later that day police arrested another Grover Beach man, 34-year-old Ambrosio Diaz Najera, as the suspect.
Zamora, a field worker with a wife and two young boys, was 30.
