A good value-priced red, this vintage is a 50/50 blend of Grenache and Syrah. It offers brambly blackberry flavors highlighted with notes of cranberries, strawberries, herbs, and spices. It’s enjoyable on its own, but made for pairing with grilled cuts of beef or lamb or a cheesy pizza topped with sausage and mushrooms. It’s available at Central Coast Wines for $17 retail.
