This ripe, rich Pinot Noir has aromas of prunes and sweet black cherry. Flavors are well-balanced on the palate: The plummy notes are highlighted with dark chocolate and spice, making it an easy-drinking wine on its own. It’s also a good choice for grilled pork or lamb chops with herbs, roast beef, or pasta with mushroom ragu. Available at the Midnight Cellars tasting room in Paso Robles Westside; it’s $33 retail.
