The Green Party of San Luis Obispo will hold a general meeting, on Sunday, April 11, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ludwick Center, 864 Santa Rosa Street in San Luis Obispo, where we will feature two guest speakers. Everyone is invited.

American Red Cross representatives will discuss community disaster preparedness and Ben Hall, a candidate for sheriff, will make a presentation. Please note our local party is not endorsing any candidate for sheriff and we welcome the opportunity to hear from all candidates.

There will be an opportunity to learn more about the Green Party and our position on upcoming ballot initiatives. We advocate for a living wage, affordable housing, universal health care, building more schools not jails, and for electoral reform, including instant run-off voting. Refreshments will be served.  For more information, call 544-1580.
