One of my favorite producers, winemaker Rick Longoria, buys pinot noir from this vineyard annually. Longoria produces a classic pinot that expresses the character of this very special, historic vineyard designation. Truly a wine for celebrations, itās as awesome on its own as it is with food. Serve it with equally grand meals, such as prime rib, stuffed crown of pork, or seared ahi. Of course, itās so delicious on its own, youāll have a hard time reserving some for dinner. Available at Longoriaās tasting rooms in Los Olivos and Lompoc, itās a very good buy for such quality at $45 retail. I bought several bottles to savor over the next five years, but it will surely age much longer.
