In 1948 when the British pulled out of Palestine, the Jews and the Arabs were closely tied and shared jobs and farming together. I have a Jewish friend who lived there at the time and says he had many Palestinian friends. However, radical Palestinians decided to take over and when they attacked the Jews, they discovered they were up against a far more intelligent, braver enemy.

During the six-day war, my Jewish friend said he gave much of his rations to starving Arab families. Arabs preach hate to their children when they are babies as well as for each other. The Shiites hate the Sunnis and are willing to bomb their neighbors for a small difference in their religion. They put virtually no effort into improving their neighborhoods.

When I traveled in Israel and would go from Israel to Palestine it was like going from a beautiful resort to a garbage dump. Every morning there would be long lines of Palestinians going to work in Israel, while throwing garbage out of their windows. Jews would like nothing better than being at peace but are under attack by bombers and rockets continually. Arab women and children are often killed running in the wrong direction. Arabs often place launching positions that put neighbors in danger.

Gaza was used by radical Palestinians because they knew that any action to stop their indiscriminate bombing of Israel would bring out the bleeding-heart liberals who couldn’t understand the Jews protecting themselves.

  1. Why is there no mention of the nakba, which is when the Jews expelled the Palestinians from their land and into refugee camps in 1948? How about Israel always being backed by the USA and Western Europe countries? How about the grotesque apartheid imposed on the Palestinians? Such treatment would generate hate in any people. The events on Oct. 7 2023 must be considered in this context.
