For those who think our SLO City Council has overstepped by passing the new law regulating odors, check out a few of these gems from DumbLaws.com: In Alabama it was illegal to carry an ice cream cone in your back pocket; a Delaware law prohibited wearing pants that are form fitting around the waist; in Kansas it is illegal to serve wine in teacups; Maine law prohibited tickling a woman under the chin with a feather duster; in Hawaii coins may not be placed in one’s ears; in California you may not ride a bike in a swimming pool; Utah bans walking down the street with a violin in a paper bag; in Wisconsin restaurants may not serve apple pie without cheese; and in Connecticut pickles have to bounce to officially be considered pickles!
