From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, our government seems incapable of breaking its addiction to meddling in other countries.

One more time we’ll spend billions of dollars, borrowed from China, to level someone else’s home in the hope that they’ll grow to love us when they get to know us better.

Meanwhile, our country’s broke and our so-called leaders are threatening us with deep cuts in everything—except, of course, congressional salaries and war.

Unfortunately, President Truman was correct when he predicted that an unbridled industrial war complex would eventually bankrupt us. But look on the bright side. If our country does indeed belly up, the rest of the world will sleep better at night.
