Bravo, New Times, for Kathy Johnston’s heart-wrenching article on the plight of school children who are homeless in our county. Her excellent research and comprehensive writing once again, serve to educate all of us about this important issue.
I personally had no idea of the gravity of this dilemma in our community. I hope that I am not the only New Times reader who is motivated to help our local homeless kids in whatever way I can. My first step toward helping will be to donate clothing to my local campus. Thanks for the education!
