Bravo to Kathy Johnston and a big thanks to New Times for an article (“At home on the Range,” Feb. 5) that sheds light on our local environment where a diversity of wildlife and vegetation has been preserved for generations. It is refreshing to know that there are landowners in our county who are not dominating the land but working in concert with nature. The flow of the article reminds us to honor our elders, be they Jim Sinton and his continued work at 92 years old or our illustrious ancient oaks. Thanks again!
