I am interested to know local law enforcement policy regarding officers handling of “suicide-by-cop” situations. Do they use lethal force?

If I wanted to commit suicide in Ferguson, I could walk into a liquor store, blatantly steal something, and then walk down the middle of the street displaying my ill-gotten prize until the police intervened, at which time I would do my best to aggravate, even assault, the officer until lethal force was administered, thereby achieving my initial goal.

Would my police/sheriff’s department kill me or use nonlethal force and utilize additional resources to subdue me and take me into custody?
