“The gloves are off” commentary (Jan. 26) by Adam Hill is typical of the far left crying because someone else is holding the ball. After many years of having the board majority, Mr. Hill is now in the minority. He is like the 9-year-old, picked last, who can’t play fair or pass the ball or run, who demands to be the team quarterback.

Because he is denied, he says he is taking his ball and going home. I say good riddance. Go home; we will find a new ball and go a different direction because the old direction was the wrong way to go!

Hill asks, “What in the world is happening at the Board of Supervisors?” The subtext being: How did it get so nasty and squalid? In a nutshell, the answer is Adam Hill is still on the board. He has always been nasty and squalid. He has always marched in lockstep with the radical left.
