Duke Energy should really consider relocating its facility to Diablo Canyon and lease space from PG&E. Duke will be able to build without the eyesore and impact issues causing the stalemate in Morro Bay.

Although the generating process is different, the two companies produce the same product. Why not cooperate and share resources such as technical and security staff? Morro Bay can demolish the old plant and try and recoup the lost revenue by developing the property in a way consistent with the marina and tourist destinations.
