Now that there is a vacancy in the Supreme Court of the United States, Americans and U.S. senators should be reminded that there is still a nomination for the Supreme Court that was never appropriately dealt with. Now is the time for Americans and senators to stand behind the nomination of Merrick Garland to be our next Supreme Court justice. Merrick Garland would be a superior nominee to any nominee that the current president would nominate. Americans deserve to have a fair, open-minded justice on the Supreme Court. Let’s promote the nominee that was never dealt with before we consider any nominee that President Trump advances.
