I live on the Nipomo Mesa. Eighty percent of the time, the air comes to Nipomo from the Oceano Dunes SVRA (State Vehicle Recreation Area). Why does our State Parks promote “driving” as a type of “recreation” and on our wonderful Oceano beach? We need to walk on the beach and listen to the waves—not the sound of vehicles.
