Whether you like acrylic or oil painting, watercolor, or jewelry, Gallery at Marina Square has something for you this November.

Acrylic painter Spanky Anderson is featured in the Lower Gallery. Paul Charles “Spanky” Anderson died in August. He grew up in Georgia and learned to draw and paint at an early age, his artist statement explains. He graduated from the University of West Georgia with a BA in Art.

Hope Myers’ work is on display in Upper Gallery I. The award-winning watercolorist has been creating her artwork on the Central Coast for more than 30 years.

Oil painter Carol Lonsdale’s work is in the Upper Gallery. “Color: the almost indescribable beauty to be found in creatures, flowers and foliage, oceans, and rock formations,” her artist statement reads. “The versatility of oil paint to describe what simple words cannot.”

See jewelry by Shelley Flogerzi in the Craft Atelier Space. She uses paua shells (pronounced pah-wah), also called the “jewel of the Pacific,” which conceal an interior of iridescent colors.

They’ll attend an opening reception on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 3 to 5 p.m. The gallery is at 601 Embarcadero, suite 10, open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The show ends Nov. 29.
