Fill 'er up: The Station is San Luis Obispo's oldest gas station re-imagined into a mixed-use space for work and events. The best part? It also boasts a curated wine and edible goods shop filled with delicious local wonders! Stop by the 311 Higuera St. location Tuesday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (thestationslo.com) ... Bristols Cider House is introducing Paella Fridays each Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nosh on Jeffry's Catering's award-winning paella swimming with smoked chicken, Spanish chorizo, Portuguese smoked sausage, citrus-marinated shrimp, and more (yes—there's more good stuff in this dish!). If you haven't stopped by the happening hangout yet, you should because, also on Fridays, you can swig $5 pints and listen to way cool vinyl records (3220 El Camino Real, Atascadero) ... SLO Wine Country is gearing up for its Harvest on the Coast Weekend this Nov. 6 through 8, so mark your calendars now, folks.

The wine shines: Cass Winery in Paso Robles has long been a favorite stop for juicy burgers and sumptuous Rhône wines. Now, it reigns supreme as the Central Coast Wine Competition Winery of the Year at this year's California Mid-State Fair! A few of their winning wines include the Cass 2013 grenache (Gold, Best of Class), 2014 marsanne (Gold, Best of Class), 2012 Rockin' One (Gold), and 2013 mourvedre (Gold), to name a few (check out this killer back-roads winery at casswines.com and be sure to try Chef Jacob Lovejoy's famous Benny's Burger on your next visit!) ... The Daily Meal named Tablas Creek Vineyard as the top winery on its 101 Best Wineries in America list for 2015! According to the publication, the winery is "a leader in the use of Rhône varietals in Paso Robles ... and in advancing sustainable and biodynamic vineyard practices." Very nice press, indeed!

Don't worry: Foremost Wine Company's popular ramen burger isn't going anywhere. You can pick one up each week at the Thursday Farmers' Market from now till the foreseeable future (yes—the buns are made of deliciously crispy ramen noodles) ... and more good news! Niner Winery Chef Maegen Loring is continuing her popular pop-up Sunday dinners through August, and they will be continuing till she can't lift a pan (this won't be happening any time soon). On Aug. 16 she'll be rolling out an Italian feast paired with and a Southwestern Sizzle meal is slated for Aug. 30. (Learn more at ninerwine.com) ... Oh, and please don't forget about the annual Paso Robles Olive Festival happening in Downtown City Park this Aug. 15. You need to stock up on oils, tapenades, and other goodies. Need—not want.
