Festival Mozaic announced the resignation of Executive Director Bettina Swigger, who has accepted the position of CEO at Downtown SLO, a nonprofit organization advocating for the economic and cultural relevance of downtown San Luis Obispo.
Sept. 30 will be Swigger’s last day with Festival Mozaic, board President Jo Anne Miller said in a press release: “We are proud that she will continue to serve our community and look forward to continuing to work with her to champion the entire region as a place where the arts can flourish,” Miller said.
The board of directors of Festival Mozaic has initiated a nationwide search for a new executive director and expects to make a decision before the 2019 Summer Festival, which is slated for July 24 through Aug. 4. Δ
