No matter how you feel about Morro Bay’s iconic stacks (an inextricable part of the landscape and city character/a total eyesore), we can all agree on good beer. Three Stacks and a Rock Brewing Co. isn’t just interested in making its beer “good.” The brewery wants to showcase a unique experience so small it’s actually mighty. That’s why Three Stacks is the region’s only “nano brewery,” producing in batches of just three barrels or less. You can also order up guest tap goodies—including local brews, cider, or wine—and snacks like sliders, sausages, a prosciutto grilled cheese, and more. If you’re headed to the beach as the weather warms, you’ll want to swing by the brew pub and tasting room and grab a not-so-teeny pint. These batches may be small, but the beer is plentiful!

Three Stacks and a Rock Brewing is located at 3118 Main St., suite D in Morro Bay. Hours are Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m., Friday from 2 to 9 p.m., Saturday from noon to 9 p.m., Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., and Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. Kitchen closed Monday. Δ
