I am here to confirm: computers are here to stay. And now is the time to refresh your dwindling skills, or embark on a whole new experience. If you would like to put your finances into a software program, transfer your old-fashioned but beloved photos to a digital format, or learn how to email a long lost friend, then TechXpress Training Center is a gift from the desk-top heavens. TechXpress has partnered with Cuesta College Community Programs and is now offering FastTrack Computer Training Classes through their center in SLO.

All levels of as many software programs as you can think are offered and it is never too late to learn: Adobe Photoshop, email and Internet basics, Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and QuickBooks. Each three hour course is completely hands-on. Classes are $79 when purchased through Cuesta and include a refresher course to be taken within a year of the original class. TechXpress is located at 3450 Broad Street, suite 101. Info: 546-3132 or www.communityprograms.net.
