We clearly need health care reform, but certain politicians obviously have vested interests in preventing it. Our mortality rate for curable diseases is that of a Third World country. Our choices are so limited by our insurance providers that obtaining proper diagnoses can be nearly impossible. I have personal experience with this very issue:  A proper diagnosis of a treatable disease was unnecessarily delayed for nearly two years. We have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and should demand it. To argue against a change in health insurance is to turn a blind eye to everyone who can’t now afford it. We deserve care.
